Dr. Abhijna Rai earned her MBBS from Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore, and MD in Dermatology from the esteemed JJM Medical College, Davangere. Subsequently, she pursued a Fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology at the Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute. With comprehensive expertise, she adeptly diagnoses and treats various dermatological, venereological, and pediatric skin conditions.
She holds a Specialty Certificate in Dermatology from the prestigious Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom. Additionally, she is certified as a Master Injector for administering anti-aging treatments, botulinum toxin and dermal filler injections, accredited by the Aesthetics and Skin Institute in Australia. She is also trained in administering various laser treatments for pigmentation, unwanted hair and scars.
Dr. Rai offers a wide range of dermatological procedures to address various skin concerns. She employs micro needling techniques to stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture and tone. Using electrocautery, she effectively treats skin conditions such as warts or skin tags. Additionally, she performs chemical peels to rejuvenate the skin and address issues like pigmentation. Her expertise extends to advanced treatments such as hydra facials and anti-hair loss therapies including PRP and mesotherapy. Dr. Rai employs excision biopsies and mole excision techniques with precision and care to remove abnormal or bothersome skin lesions.
